By Profession I am a full-time Realtor...I discovered watercolor by accident! I have always loved to draw and as a kid I wanted to be a "Commercial Artist" when I grew up. That never transpired. I spent many years pursuing music and finally realized I was NOT going to be discovered! After a couple of close breaks and singing professionally for over 3 years in Austin, Texas - I decided it wasn't for me (it's a hard thing to give up). I met my husband n 1982 and have dabbled in music from time to time (ie...Springville Broadway Musicals for the last two productions) but when I met him I knew it was time to start a family and so we did with our first child born in 1988 and our 2nd in 1990, a girl and then a boy.
We moved from Houston, Texas to Springville, Utah in 1996. I have been a Realtor since 2002. I started doing watercolor just about 6 months ago as I was looking for hobbies to keep my mind active and doing things that I have never done before as an Alzheimer preventative (something I learned in an online course), I have dabbled in acrylic before but just didn't really like it and wasn't very good at it...the same with oil. But, watercolor...it is amazing! I love it so much! I paint almost every day. It brings me so much JOY!
I now paint my clients houses as a closing gift which is one of the reasons I wanted to get good at it. It has worked out great! Please feel free to make requests!
